Everyone goes through periods when they’re low on confidence, and it can be hard to know how to get it back at times too. That’s why we’re here with 3 easy ways that you can regain your confidence, all of which are completely free and will really help to change your mindset and how you feel about yourself. We all deserve to feel good about ourselves, and these things can all start straight away.

Get 8 Hours Sleep

The first thing you can do to regain your confidence is to get a good night’s sleep. Sleeping well is such an important part of your mental and physical health, so you’ll feel so much more prepared for the following day. Your mind will feel clearer, your body will have more energy and you will be less emotionally sensitive which can help to improve feelings of low confidence. A lack of sleep can contribute to a wide range of low feelings that affects us, as well as making us feel groggy and not like ourselves.

So, now you know the benefits, it’s time to get your 8 hours of sleep! Decide whether you want to go to bed slightly earlier or if you can afford to wake up slightly later, but make sure you’re strict for a week and we’re confident that you will feel really different in yourself. Get yourself a good evening routine, using some vegan skin care products, turning your screen off a good few hours before bed and just ensuring you’re fully unwinding to get your 8 hours in.

Move Your Body

Regular exercise can really help to improve your confidence, as it improves your mood, lowers feelings of anxiety and when you’re taking the time to look after yourself and your body, it has a really positive overall impact. Moving your body definitely doesn’t have to just mean going to the gym or running, there are so many options out there so make sure you do something you actually enjoy and you’ll stick to it! If you love to dance, why not try a fun dance fitness class? Maybe you could catch up with a friend for a morning walk to feel nice and refreshed before work. You could go for a swim at your local gym, or join a local sports team to try something you’ve been wanting to for ages.

Moving your body is about feeling good, and often when you focus on weight related goals, that doesn’t happen. So, try to set yourself different goals, then you’ll naturally start to feel more comfortable in your own skin. Perhaps that’s doing 5 press ups on your toes, it could be doing 7,500 steps a day for a week, maybe you are able to complete 6 songs instead of 5 at a dance class. This is all about looking after your mental and physical health, so do something that’s fun for you and the rest will fall into place.

Assign An Hour A Day To Yourself

Lastly, make sure you’re assigning an hour a day to do something you enjoy. This might be reading a book, having a nice hot bath, making some dainty gold bracelets, listening to your favourite album, cooking a nice nutritious meal, meeting up with a friend or anything in between. Just the act of prioritising yourself and doing something you enjoy is so important and you will gradually learn to love yourself more and more, as you deserve to.
